I’ve just spent the last 20 some odd hours w/ what I will keep saying was food poisoning. What I ate that gave it to me is still a mystery but I am so glad to be outta that forest. That sucked to say the least. What do I have to look forward to now that I’m better!?!

Batman Incorporated #1

It’s a brand new day in the bat universe as Morrison pens yet another new Batman title with this release. This is the next stage of evolution for Batman as he gets all logo’d up and because a corporate marketing tool – kidding, I think. One thing this book promises is lots of guest-stars. How many? Lots.

Continuing his trend of only writing Batman books for the rest of his life (joking), Morrison pens this one shot that explains what is going to be happening with all of the bat characters now the Bruce is back. My first guest, star washing the car Dick. I’m just saying.

Hellboy Double Feature of Evil One Shot

It’s bizarro world for Hellboy, and with this book that is saying something as this “blood-curling” double features has Hellbot entering two very different, but equally deadly houses. Enjoy.

Osborn #1 (of 4)

Proving you can’t keep a good psychopath down, this mini-series features the latest resident of the Raft, Norman Osborn. I guess the question is, if it’s a four-issue mini-series, what are the odds that Norman will be staying behind bars. Could get a little dull with all the action occurring in that little cell. Bonus tale written by Warren Ellis.

Remember this new book? We sure do and we can not wait to see what happens after its awesome debut. So now the question is, is everything as it seems. Who or what is Superior and does the world have a legitimate new superhero? All good questions I am sure you would agree.

Don’t wait on this one as it is guaranteed to sell out again.

Amazing Spider-Man #648

Spider-man is going big time, as in the new arc for the fearless arachnid-wearing hero. Brand New Day is history, life moves on and Amazing Spidey is now out twice a month. However, the more things change, the more they stay the same as J. Jonah Jameson and the Sinister Six continue to make things fun. Slott takes over as the sole ongoing writer with this issue.

Avengers Children’s Crusade #3 (of 9)

Continuing to move at breakneck speed, the latest installment features the “actual” return of the Scarlet Witch. Talk about not milking something to the end, or near the end. I mean, this revelation is pretty much in the beginning as the book is only about one-third of the way complete after this issue. Anyway, Wanda’s back, but which Wanda is it? Is she the Vision-loving hero or the mutant-extinction crazy person. My money is on the crazy.

Batman Return of Bruce Wayne #6 (of 6)

Finally it has arrived, the return of one Bruce Wayne, better known as the Dark Knight, the Caped Crusader, Apollo Creed (okay, I’m kidding on that last one, but how cool would that be – but I digress). Anyway, Batman is back, and boy is he going to be pissed at Dick for wearing his costume. I mean, you don’t go commando in another man’s tights. I’m just saying. And oh yeah, the future of the Batman titles begins here.

Superman vs Muhammad Ali Deluxe HC

More thrilling than a fight in Manilla, it’s two versions of the classic Superman vs. Muhammad Ali comic. Only aliens in the 1970s could bring these two legends together, and for a boxing match no less (I wonder who wins?). The deluxe edition is normal size and features previously unreleased art. The facsimile edition is the books original print size (10×13.25), because Superman and Muhammad Ali in a comic book is just too much for the confines of the normal page.

Cover Girls of the DCU Harley Quinn Statue
