Brave New Worlds

These 2 comics are screaming at me to read them! I’m not really sure what language it is in but it sounds kinda like this… Hit the jump to see what books I will be reading first…

Jurassic Park: Redemption #1: IDW apparently has acquired the rights to publish the further adventures of the dinosaur theme park world we all know and love. Taking place “13 years after the events in the first Jurassic Park motion picture…” we see now adult versions of Tim and Lex (those pesky fun loving grandkids of that pesky fun loveing old timer who brought us dinosaurs in a theme park setting) going about their lives in whatever their lives have become since they ate all that dessert in the visitors center. As we know because Dr Ian Malcolm told us “life will find a way” and I assume that means dinosaurs too (why would the publish a comic where the dinosaurs dong go nuts and eat someone?!). You can be darn sure this one is first one my list!

Sea Bear & Grizzly Shark: The name says it all. I’m actually too excited to read this for words. Ryan Ottley and Jason Howard, artists on Invincible and Astounding Wolf-Man respectively, bring us (they write and draw ’em) two full length tales of predators, each in the wrong habitat. Sharks on land and bears in the water. Also there is a short prose piece by Robert Kirkman that gives the origins of these species. Now where did I put my shark costume…
