Brave New Worlds

Now that everyone has read issue #10 of Gran Morrison’s Batman and Robin series [wait you didn’t read it!?…what’s wrong with you! go read it now ’cause it ruled!] let’s take a look at these six awesome covers to the Return of Bruce Wayne comic that DC posted online recently.

•We start off with a Cave Batman

•Then we get what looks like a Puritan type Batman [hmm like in that picture in issue #10…]

•Then a Black Beard-esque Bruce swashbuckling [wait in issue #10 weren’t there burning ships in the back of a painting?!…].

•Now a Cowboy Batman [I’m wondering if he meets up with Jonah Hex like in that one episode of the JLU cartoon…other than that no ties to issue #10 that I can see]

•Then we have this noir detective version of Bruce in a suit and fedora that is shinning a flashlight on a woman’s hand [I think looks like he is  investigating his own parents murder]

•Last but not least Batman being Batman.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?! Let me know. [Also I really like how when all the covers are lined up like this you can see a bat symbol shape running through them all]
