It’s the end of yet another week. In Old City that means First Friday’s tonight and in Willow Grove I think that still means it’s FNM (tho I have no idea what goes on out there anymore). Here’s the list of what’ll be out this week…

Well would you look at that!? Just when you thought it wasn’t going to happen…Professor X and Magneto show up at the airport and tell you that they need you to travel through time – er no wait – (spoiler?) that was the end of The Wolverine. Anyways…
BNW has gone Swiss!
We are happy to announce that Tuesday night Magic booster drafts in our Willow Grove store are now being run Swiss style. For those unfamiliar with the format this means that every player plays every round. You the player get more value for your entry fee! This differs from our previous single elimination format events, but fear not! If you prefer single elimination events we still have those for our Thursday night “wacky pack events”.
As always, Magic booster drafts begin on both Tuesday and Thursday night @ 7:30 PM with $15 entry fees. One booster pack per person is contributed towards the prize pool.
Prizes for the Tuesday Swiss event are split: 1 pack to 3rd place, 1 pack to 4th place, 2/3 of the remaining prize pool to 1st place, and 1/3 of the remaining prize pool to 2nd place.
Prizes for the Thursday single elimination event are bigger but only go to 1st place unless 1st and 2nd place agree to split prizes.

MTG Commander: Open Play Mondays
Monday nights in Willow Grove are now officially Magic: the Gathering Commander nights! Come in for open play with “Commander Kevin” from 5- 9 PM. If you are not familiar with the Commander format then stop by the Willow Grove location for assistance. You can also check out the official Commander website here.
