Our Willow Grove store will be hosting a Swiss format Magic the Gathering: Dragon’s Maze Launch Party event on Sunday, May 6th at 12 noon.  The $30 entry fee gets you a guild box including 4 Dragon’s Maze booster packs and 2 semi-random guild boosters from which you must construct a 40-card sealed deck.  Each player also receives a copy of the foil promo card Breaking/Entering.  2 and 1/2 booster packs of Dragon’s Maze per player will be contributed to the prize pool.

We do not have preregistration, so show up early to be sure you’ll get to play your favorite guild in the event.  Our gaming area can accommodate up to 64 players per event.

The new issue of Magic the Gathering: Spell Thief (#3) has the best promo card so far:  Standstill.  This card has not been printed since the Odyssey set back in 2001.  It is a staple card in the Legacy format and the basic version sells regularly for $7 and up.  You can get a cool promo version along with a great comic to read for only $4.99!

Do you have a favorite Gundam series?  If so, chances are now quite good that we have a model from it.  Stop by either store and check out our selection of plastic snap-together Japanese robot kits.  Prices range from $13 for 1/44 size to $150 for 1/48 size.

Friday, August 31st, was the release date for the newest limited edition Magic set, From the Vault: Realms.  It is a 15-card all foil set that reprints some of the best land cards in Magic history.  Below are pictures of all cards in the set. We have a limited number of sets arriving at each store, so stop in either location and pick up a copy today!

Want to wield the power of the tesseract?  You can do so if you purchase our New Hot Toys Nick Fury Avengers action figure.  We only have one left, so stop in our Willow Grove store if you are interested and Fury can be yours for $199.99!

Like all of our other Hot Toys figure he comes with a variety of extra hands and accessories, including a rifle, a pistol w/ holster, and a light-up LED briefcase which houses the tesseract while in transport.

You’re probably aware of our little Book Club, you know the one where you buy 10 trades or hardcovers in a year and get store credit toward one…well we’ve started a Warhammer Rewards Program that works on the same principles.
