Brave New Worlds started on a dare in Willow Grove Pennsylvania April\'s Fool\'s Day 1989. It was originally named the \"Comic Book Store\" until the shop moved to Jenkintown.
Brave New Worlds has been serving the greater Philadelphia area\'s comic book and toy needs for over 20 Years.

Tomorrow is Free Comic Book Day (if you’ve been under a rock for the last 10+ years or so it’s the 1st Saturday in May every year) which means we will be super busy all day so we’re posting next weeks shipping list an entire day early! Free Comic Book Day is Coming!
Free Comic Book Day is coming! It’s the first Saturday in May every year (just in case you’ve been living in an alternate dimension for the last decade or so) which means it falls on Cinco de Mayo aka May 5th…aka the day after the Avengers comes out!
Magic Prerelease: Avacyn Restored
Our Willow Grove location will be hosting 3 prerelease sealed booster events for the newest Magic set, Avacyn Restored. Each event will have a $30 entry fee which will get you 6 booster packs of Avacyn Restored and a foil promo card: Moonsilver Spear. 3 additional Avacyn Restored booster packs per player will go towards prizes. Event times are as follows:
- April 27th -28th @ midnight (Helvault)
- April 28th @ 2 PM
- April 29 @ 12 noon (Helvault)
The midnight and noon events will feature a giant three-dimensional Helvault, which will slowly open as the tournaments progress and supply additional prizes to be given out. For more details, check out the official website here.
