Brave New Worlds

Eternal comic buzzboy and gossip guru Rich Johnston just brought to my attention via his twitter that a copy of Action Comics #1, the holy grail of back issue comics!, sold for $1,000,000!!!!!!! The 8.0 VF CGC’d copy apparently sold to an anonymous buyer and, while it is the second highest graded edition of this comic, now holds the record for most ever paid for a comic. You can read what Rich had to say over at his site Bleeding Cool, he may have updates as more comes out about this sale.  While I would love to own this comic, even in the worst possible condition, I am not sure I would drop a cool 1,000,000 on it. Would you?
